We have a community of approximately 2,400 students and offer practically focused digital media and design courses from pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate to professional short course level. Driven by industry standards and supported by the latest high-performance technology, we produce highly employable and enterprising graduates. We have a strong track record in graduate employability and business creation. Ravensbourne also hosts alongside its student community more than 100 creative technology businesses that utilise its leading edge technologies and media resources, and collaborate with its student body and industry partners. We've got a strong track record in getting good jobs for our graduates, because we equip them with the practical skills they need to excel in the workplace. We have close working relationships with local and national industries, making sure that as a Ravensbourne learner you'll have access to a wealth of work placement opportunities. We had more students involved in broadcasting the Olympic and Paralympic games than any other education institution in London, and we also ran live projects with prestigious firms such as Barclays, Marks and Spencer and Ogilvy.
Our staff aren't just highly regarded academics - many of them also bring with them years of experience with industry greats, from Vogue to Walt Disney Studios, the BBC and more. So you'll be learning from the experts.
In the 50 years since we were established, we've built a name for ourselves by producing some of Britain's finest - and most diverse - creative talent. Fashion designer Stella McCartney, 2012 Olympic torch designer Jay Osgerby, music legend David Bowie and The King's Speech producer Simon Egan were all trained here. And thousands more of our alumni are making waves across their professions, with many picking up industry awards. Our reputation is international - we were recently named one of the top 100 European design schools by Italian architecture and design magazine Domus.
