The Vidyalaya was started in the year 1981. The Vidyalaya has classes I to XII with an enrollment of 2161 with science and Arts stream at the plus two level. The Vidyalaya participates in Games, sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
